I remember the time Beth and I had a very public disagreement on a school Facebook page. It started as a discussion between parents but they tailed off one by one and just watched as we both argued our point. I have no idea what it was about now but I was definitely right. 🤣 We carried on our conversation in private and I don't think we ever did agree. What we did do though was respect each other's opinion and listen to the other's point of view.

The next day when we walked into the playground we both noticed people staring and holding their breaths, waiting for the explosion. We looked each other in the eye, trying not to laugh and she came straight over for a chat and asked me round for coffee.

We have laughed about this so often since and the line, 'can't people just disagree like adults?' has been said several times over the past 6-7 years 🤣

I shall miss the friend I turned to for advice. The one who sent me private messages when she thought she could help, (the last offer of help was 2 months ago! Still trying to help others to the end), the friend I laughed with about things I could never say to anyone else, the friend I needed today but wasn't there. 💔
